We are seeking a talented Research Investigator to join our Discovery Biology team. In this role, you will be embedded within cross‑functional project teams and contribute across the full discovery continuum—from new target proposal and target evaluation/validation, through hit/lead discovery and lead optimization, to candidate selection and IND‑enabling readiness. You will collaborate closely with partners across discovery functions (e.g., chemistry, molecular sciences, in vivo pharmacology, DMPK and safety) to translate complex disease/target biology questions into actionable experimental plans, enabling a strong and diversified preclinical pipeline across both traditional and emerging modalities. Develop and optimize cell line- or primary cell-based assays under the supervision of a group leader, using colorimetric, fluorogenic or imaging readouts in a low, medium, or high throughput format to meet project requirements Develop and execute target validation plan for new research proposals via independently reviewing and summarizing literature data under the guidance of a senior leader. Close work with cross-functional team and engage in cross-disciplinary scientific discussion, and act as functional representative to provide expertise for in vitro cellular based experiments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in cellular assay development by undertaking innovative approaches under the guidance of a senior leader Generate, analyze, and interpret data in appropriate scientific context, and present data in both written and verbal formats to internal and external stakeholders

PhD in the disciplines of medical and life sciences; specialty in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics, cancer biology or immunology; Strong cancer biology or immunology knowhow and track record of scientific accomplishment at high standards; Extensive expertise in cloning, mammalian cell culture, transfection/transduction, siRNA KD, CRISPR KO, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence is required; Highly self-motivated and capable of handling and prioritizing tasks from multiple parallel projects; Good communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
