Work you will do • Providing actuarial and insurance advisory services to insurers, banks, other financial institutions, government bodies as well as employers. • Working with other professional consultants to deliver a wide range of high quality and high impact projects including but not limited to: o Product and market entry strategy o Customer and distribution model revamp o Merger and acquisition o International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 17 advisory and implementation o Solvency reporting, asset-liability management (ALM) and capital optimization solutions o Risk management strategy, governance, systems and business embedding o Environmental, social & governance (ESG) and sustainability initiatives including climate risk stress testing, modelling and financial disclosures for insurers and other financial institutions o Actuarial model development and review o Advisory and implementation of insurers’ digitalization initiatives including data analytics and application of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) o Actuarial & finance transformation including:  Target operating model (TOM) review and re-design  Actuarial technology and application re-platform and modernization  Review, automation, optimization and ‘Operate’ of actuarial & finance processes o Reserve and Embedded Value calculation and review o Pension liability review o Actuarial audit on the financial statements of insurance companies or pension schemes of employers • Working with our professionals in the global Deloitte network across multiple geographical locations including Australia, Canada, the Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States etc. • Providing assistance on internal research, marketing and product development During your tenure as an analyst in Actuarial - T&T, you will demonstrate and develop your leadership and professional capabilities in the following areas: Building diverse capability, Collaborating, Creating purpose, Delivering value, Driving agility, Influencing, Inspiring, Building the Business, Analytical Acumen, Effective Communication, Delivery Excellence, Managing Change, Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving and Tech Savviness.

• University Degree holder in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, risk management, quantitative finance and other relevant programmes • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate technical concepts and ideas • Attention to detail, strong analytical and good organizational skills • Excellent communication in verbal and written English • Excellent interpersonal and team playing skills • Proficiency in MS office Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, R, VBA), data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI etc) and data analytics techniques and related tools would be advantageous • Commitment to obtaining professional qualification of an internationally recognized actuarial organization (e.g. Society of Actuaries) and good progress in actuarial examination would be advantageous At Deloitte, we know we’re at our best when we look out for one another; prioritize respect, fairness, development and wellbeing; foster an inclusive culture and embrace diversity in all forms.
