BeOne is seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Investigator to join our Molecular Sciences team and contribute to the discovery and development of innovative oncology and immunology therapeutics. • This position is ideal for recent Ph.D. graduates or psotdoc with strong scientific training in biochemistry, enzymology, cell biology, immunology, or related disciplines who are passionate about drug development. New investigators will receive structured technical training, access to established scientific resources, mentorship from experienced scientists, and guidance from managers to support their successful transition into an industrial drug discovery environment. As part of a multidisciplinary drug discovery organization, you will work closely with medicinal chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists to support therapeutic target validation, mechanism-of-action studies, and lead optimization efforts across BeOne's discovery pipeline. • Design, develop, optimize, and implement biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assay platforms to support target validation, hit identification, lead optimization, and mechanism-of-action studies. • Independently design and execute scientifically rigorous studies to address key project questions, analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and generate insights that advance drug discovery programs. • Communicate experimental results, scientific findings, and project updates effectively within project teams and across the broader research function. • Conduct literature reviews, evaluate emerging scientific and therapeutic opportunities, monitor competitive developments, and contribute to target assessment and drug discovery strategy discussions. • Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, biochemists, cell biologists, pharmacologists, and other cross-functional partners to accelerate project progression and achieve discovery milestones.

• Ph.D. degree (or expected completion prior to joining) in Biochemistry, Enzymology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline. • Strong scientific foundation demonstrated through high-quality research accomplishments and peer-reviewed publications. • Demonstrated ability to think independently, solve complex scientific problems, and contribute innovative ideas. • Strong data analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Passion for biomedical research and a strong interest in drug discovery. • Experience with early-stage drug discovery research, including assay development, hit identification, and screening strategies. • Hands-on experience with biochemical and biophysical technologies such as SPR, MST, BLI, DSF, enzymatic assays, or related platforms. • Knowledge of oncology, immunology, targeted therapeutics, or protein degradation technologies is a plus.
