Work you will do Our team of professional consultants advises and works with our clients to solve business problems, strive operational excellence, create values and drive business growth. We are the frontrunners that strategize, innovate and implement technology, analytics and digital transformation for our clients. Our services includes modernization of product development, product pricing, customer behavioural/value analysis, distribution model revamp, modernization of systems and models, automation and streamlining of end-to-end business processes, and data management and analytics for insurance operations, financial reporting, capital management and risk management. We're currently looking for strong actuarial and data science professionals to join the team to:- • Work with other staff and managers to efficiently deliver high quality projects. There are opportunities to be staffed on a large variety of projects including but not limited to: o IFRS 17 Implementation o C-ROSS o Actuarial model development and review o Embedded value calculation and review o Asset-Liability model development and review o Reserve review o Pricing and analytics o Merger and acquisition o Market entry strategy o Risk management consulting o Regulatory consulting o Actuarial audit on the financial statements of insurance companies or pension schemes of employers • Work with our professionals in different geographical locations across the Asia Pacific region including China, Korea, Japan, Australia and other South East Asian countries • Provide assistance on internal research and product development • Provide assistance on preparing materials of bidding and marketing • Collaborate with professionals in other Deloitte Advisory service lines During your tenure as an analyst in Actuarial, you will demonstrate and develop your leadership and professional capabilities in the following areas: Building diverse capability, Collaborating, Creating purpose, Delivering value, Driving agility, Influencing, Inspiring, Building the Business, Analytical Acumen, Effective Communication, Delivery Excellence, Managing Change, Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving and Tech Savviness.

• Bachelor degree or above with strong academic credentials • Committed to obtaining fellowship qualification of an internationally recognized actuarial organization, e.g. SOA, CAS, IFoA. • Good progress in actuarial examination would be advantageous • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate actuarial concepts and ideas • Attention to details, strong analytical and good organizational skills • Proficient in MS office Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint • Experienced in actuarial software would be advantageous, e.g. Prophet • Excellent communication in verbal and written English • Excellent interpersonal and team playing skills At Deloitte, we know we’re at our best when we look out for one another; prioritize respect, fairness, development and wellbeing; foster an inclusive culture and embrace diversity in all forms.
