About Deloitte Forensic Deloitte Forensic is a specialist service line which integrates multi-disciplinary expertise and experience to assist clients in addressing complex financial disputes, investigations, and risk management challenges. We help our clients react quickly and confidently in a crisis, investigation or dispute. Work you’ll do: As an Associate, you will work on high-impact matters such as forensic investigations, dispute resolution, compliance reviews, and estate administration matters. This role offers hands-on experience in investigations to uncover financial irregularities and identify root cause, evaluating client's compliance with regulatory standards to mitigate legal and financial risks, and ensuring proper estate administration to protect beneficiaries’ interests and resolve disputes fairly. You’ll collaborate with experienced forensic accountants and specialists in financial crime, data analytics, etc to analyze data, prepare reports, and support client engagements. • Collect and organize evidence (e.g., transaction documents, communications, and electronic data) while maintain a chain of custody for legal or regulatory purposes • Review corporate records to map organizational structures, business operations and workflows • Examine financial statements, accounting records and company's policies and procedures to detect irregularities, potential fraud or compliance breaches • Participate in client interviews and meetings, document responses to support case strategies and evidence-gathering • Analyze findings to determine whether irregularities stem from errors, control weaknesses, or intentional misconduct, and assess their financial or regulatory impact • Identify gaps in internal controls or compliance frameworks and recommend practical remediation steps to mitigate legal and financial risks • Prepare write-ups and reports to communicate findings to clients • Utilize data analytics tools to examine patterns in financial data that may indicate red flags for further investigation. • Support engagement planning by assisting with research and proposal development During your tenure as an associate in Deloitte Forensic, you will demonstrate and develop your leadership and professional capabilities in the following areas: Building diverse capability, Collaborating, Creating purpose, Delivering value, Driving agility, Influencing, Inspiring, Building the Business, Analytical Acumen, Effective Communication, Delivery Excellence, Managing Change, Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving and Tech Savviness.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law related disciplines • Strong attention to detail, analytical and communications skills • Eagerness to learn, able to adapt in a fast paced and dynamic working environment • Keen interest in financial investigations, litigation support and/or estate administration • Excellent in written and spoken English and Mandarin • Self-starter and a good team player • Able to demonstrate a strong and enthusiastic work ethic • Flexibility and willingness to travel • Familiarity with the use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools and ability to craft effective prompts to support research, document drafting, or data analysis tasks is a plus At Deloitte, we know we’re at our best when we look out for one another; prioritize respect, fairness, development and wellbeing; foster an inclusive culture and embrace diversity in all forms.
