Brief description of the position: This intern position for 3D-CFD topics within the cooling and Battery system field, as well as the cooling in the VCTC organization and reports to the EAF2( Thermal Management & Cooling).  Range of Responsibility:-support the definition of the performance and dimension of cooling system based on requirements of powertrain, battery system and charging system, working together with EAFs FOPs and neighbouring deparments (climate, batterie, aerodynamics, etc) - support to define system topology in different working mode as per vehicle requirement and HV component requirement-support the definition of the performance and dimension of cooling system based on requirements of powertrain, battery system and charging system, working together with EAFs FOPs and neighbouring deparments (climate, batterie, aerodynamics, etc) - support to define system topology in different working mode as per vehicle requirement and HV component requirement- 1D and 3D simulation model preparation- support thermal battery simulation- 1D and 3D simulation model preparation- support thermal battery simulationQualification and skills required for the position:Education:Master degree student in thermal energy and power engineering, aerodynamics, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or other related fields.Working experience: - experience in vehicle thermal management system simulation field; Knowledge, skills and others:- understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer mechanisms and physics; - understanding of simulation tools and principles; - familiar with software like Amesim, GT-Suite, KULI, Star CCM, Fluent, ANSA etc.;- familiar with BEV cooling system structure, theory, and components; - familiar with agile working methods and Jira-System is a plus; - fluent English communication skills and German communication skills is a plus; - good communication skills and team spirit.
