Location: Shanghai About R&D Center: In 2021, Tesla's first overseas R&D center with the goal of vehicle development was officially established in Shanghai. The Shanghai R&D and Innovation Center will conduct R&D work around the whole vehicle, charging equipment and energy products, and will become a completed R&D center on the same scale as Tesla's North American R&D Center. As an important step for Tesla's localized development in the Chinese market, our Tesla China R&D Center has a complete range of specialties, as forward design and test verification of the core components of the whole vehicle and energy products, and it has more than 100 professional laboratories. The goal of Chinese team is to originally design, develop and produce vehicle models and energy products suitable for the Chinese market, achieve "Created in China" and “Sell them globally”. The R&D center will play an important role in this process. Major in materials engineering, polymer science, electrochemistry or related fields is required. Master's degree or above is required. 2. Candidates with experience in SAE formula/solar car races are preferred. 3. Make good use of the first principles to think about problems. 4. Fluent in English, capable of using it as a working language. Those with overseas experience are preferred. 5. Bonus points: Solid theoretical foundation, challenging the impossible, rich hands-on ability, innovative thinking, and the ability to apply theory to practice. 6 It is hoped that you can take an internship for 4 months or more.
